Upon arrival at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport, your guide will come to meet you up and transfer you to hotel.

Suan Pakkard Palace and Jim Thompson house 

In the afternoon, visit Suan Pakkad Palace, the former residence of the Royal Highnesses Prince and Princess Chumbhot of Nagara Svarga. The highlight of this museum, is the 300-year old lacquered pavilion decorated with 17th Century gold leaf murals and fine woodcarvings.

Continue with a visit to the Thai-style house of Jim Thompson, the legendary American businessman who came to Thailand at the end of World War II and rediscovered the Thai silk industry. His house is now a museum filled with fascinating Asian antiques and historical memorabilia. 


Siam Niramit dinner & Stage show (join-in show) 

Siam Niramit is a world-class celebration of Thailand's artistic and cultural heritage. Set in the heart of Bangkok, this must-see spectacle is performed on a gigantic stage featuring over 150 performers with as many as 500 costumes. Enhanced special effects using the latest technology are used to produce an inspiring experience. It's a performance in three acts: Act I takes you back into the rich history of the Kingdom, Act II introduces you to the three realms central to Traditional Thai beliefs and Act III takes you on a journey through Thailand’s festivals. 

Dinner is buffet-style served from 17:30 to 20:00. The show begins at 20:00 and lasts 80 minutes. Theatre doors open 30 minutes before show time. A shared return transfer from all downtown hotels, as well as a guide are included. Please note that the transfer may collect and return guests from other locations/hotels also. An approximate pick up time will be informed to you beforehand.

Essential Bangkok tour

After breakfast, drive to Wat Pho in time to experience the monks’ morning chanting ritual. One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho is home to the famous 45m reclining Buddha, also known as original school of traditional Thai massage. From here, take a tuk-tuk ride via Pak Klong Taland Flower Market towards the Grand Palace, the most important and spectacular royal palace in Thailand. The mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand, now is housed here. Next, walk to the pier to take a long-tailed boat ride along the klongs(canals) of Thonburi to get a flavour of local life. Stop at Wat Arun, once the grand royal temple to King Rama II.

After lunch at a local restaurant, cross the river again and drive to Chinatown and get a first-hand look at old Bangkok. Walk along Yaworat Road where there are many interesting shops selling everything imaginable. Enjoy a cup of Chinese tea with the locals at a very old teashop before exploring the bustling Talad Kao market, where a variety of food, fresh and dry fruits, and Chinese herbs are on offer. Return to the hotel.


Apsara dinner cruise 

In the evening, pick up from the hotel and drive to the River City Pier from where we set sail on one of Bangkok’s must do gourmand experiences, Apsara, the ultimate riverside dining experience along Chao Phraya River. Navigate the sights and sounds of the bustling waterways and enjoy a feast fit for a king, with authentic Thai dishes in the midst of Bangkok’s impressive scenery. After cruise, return to the pier and transfer back to the hotel.

Street-food tour

After breakfast, head to the Bangrak neighborhood for a chance to really become a Thai food insider, as we take you on a behind-the-scenes adventure to indulge in the local sights and flavors of this foodie’s neighborhood. There is a good chance to see the local restaurant owners at wok station (cooking station) and hear their stories through our guide. 

Taste delicious samples from famous street vendors, local eateries and fine dining restaurants. You will spend much of the morning walking around this fascinating neighborhood and trying many Thai culinary delights. 

In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, your guide will come to meet you and transfer you to your hotel.  


Khantoke Dinner and hill tribe show

The Khantoke dinner is traditionally related to the people of the northern region. Dinner is served in small bowls, known in Thai as Khan. Guests are seated on cushions at a low table, known as Toke in Thai. The cuisine served typical of the northern Thai Lanna style. and during dinner, entertainment is provided by traditional dancers, who will perform the FornLeb, known as the finger dance, FornThien, known as the candle dance, Ramwong, referred to as the circle dance and the Ram Dab, known as the sword dance.

Elephant Riding Program at Rantong Elephant Center

After breakfast, at the hotel’s lobby, we will pick you from your hotel by private van. On arrival at the elephant center, join with others and learn about the camp and these incredible creatures. You can experience feeding then riding the elephants through the forest. Enjoy a simple lunch at the camp and continue to take the elephant to bath. Later, return by private transfer to your hotel.


Street Food Tour

The northern city of Chiang Mai is considered Thailand’s cultural capital, while also sitting near some of the country’s top natural attractions, most within half an hour’s drive of the old town. Furthermore, many people also know that Chiang Mai street-food stalls and shop houses boast incredible northern Thai cuisine and delicious snacks. 

If you would like to enjoy, we will take you to the 3 King Monument area near the centre of town and the popular food street where you can try various delicacies such as: special northern noodle soup, stir fries, Phad Thai, khao man kai, khao soi, fresh fruit, and a variety of Thai desserts.

Sights and sounds of Chiang Mai 

After breakfast, we will start a half day bicycling excursion through the southern part of Chiang Mai. This is an amazing way to observe local rural life and get off the beaten path. The routing is along quiet and green roads, passing the former Lanna capital, Wiang Kum Kam. Take a look at the temples and ruins that date back hundreds of years. Continue with a visit to a Chinese temple and the McKean rehabilitation centre, which houses a former leper colony. Continue by bicycle and visit a special school for monks where most of the pupils are hill tribe children. 

Make a stop at a small pottery village where you can see how they produce different shapes of pottery by hand. Ride along the Ping River and take in the local atmosphere that makes Chiang Mai so special. Make a stop at a local bakery where you can try a delicious sweet bun while watching them make many other different products by hand. Later stop at a market to observe how these products are traded, and to try some of the most delicious and exotic fresh fruits and other snacks. Along the way, you will have lunch with Thai meal at a local restaurant.


Chiang Mai city tour

In the afternoon, start with a visit to a local Northern food and flower market where local Thai do their shopping. Visit Wat Suan Dok where ashes of former Kings of Chiang Mai and the Royal Family are kept. Continue with a visit to Wat Phra That on Doi Suthep Mountain, which was founded in 1383 A.D. In 1935 a road was built to the top, but nowadays people climb the 309 steps from the car park to the top or take a tram for a small surcharge. The climb up is rewarded with a superb panoramic view over the city. Return to the car park for the transfer back to Chiang Mai where you will finish the day with a 20 minute rickshaw ride through the quiet streets of the old town. 

In the evening, enjoy a special Chef's menu dinner at Rachamankha.

Home of Handicrafts 

Chiang Mai is Thailand's main handicraft centre and is ringed by small villages which are home to cottage factories and workshops. After breakfast, visit San Kamphaeng district, the heart of the silk and cotton home industries, and observe the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics. Continue to Bor Sang, the umbrella village, where delicate Thai paper umbrellas are produced and hand-painted. 

Visit Thai Celadon, about 6 km north of Chiang Mai, where ceramics are produced following the Sawankhalok pottery method which dates back hundreds of years. Before we return to Chiang Mai, pay a last visit to a small village where you can observe the intricate work of both lacquer ware and silverware craftsmen.  

After lunch at local restaurant, transfer to airport for your next flight.
