Experience the beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife along with ancient cities and temples of Sri Lanka. On arrival in Sri Lanka at Colombo international airport, you will be met and assisted by our airport representative who will direct you to your chauffeur guide. Transfer to your accommodation in Kandalama located in Dambulla.
After a short break, climb the Sigiriya rock, UNESCO World Heritage Site, a 5th century 'Fortress in the Sky' stands 200 metres above the scrub jungle. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat and rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The majestic Lion’s Paw picturesquely guards the stairway of the palace on the summit. See the famous frescoes of the Heavenly maidens of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10 foot high Mirror Wall. At the foothills, visit the Sigiriya Museum as well.

Rise up early and proceed to the take off point. The Cultural Triangle Ballooning trip starts in Habarana - Sigiriya - Dambulla area. Hot air balloon adventure lasts approximately 2½ - 3 hours, starting with the preparation and inflation of the balloon. There will be a briefing before takeoff and the flight itself. The take-off is in the morning soon after dawn and the flight would last for about an hour depending on the prevailing winds. Experience peace and tranquility amongst the clouds as you take in the sights. Be awed by the Sigiriya rock, the rock temples, fields and other great attractions from this new vista.
Return to your accommodation for breakfast. Spend the first half of the day at leisure.
In the afternoon leave for a Jeep Safari in the Minneriya National Park, an ideal eco-tourism location in Sri Lanka. It is home to Sri Lanka’s favorites such as spotted deer, Sambar, leopards, sloth bear and elephants.
Return to the hotel in Kandalama. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Kandy. En route, visit a spice garden in Matale.
Kandy, the bustling hill-country capital is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival in Kandy, commence a city tour. Take an upper lake drive to the top of the hill where a bird’s eye view opens of the city below and drive around the man made Kandy Lake, visit the colossal Bahirawakanda Buddha Statue and the Gem Museum.

In the evening, enjoy a Kandyan cultural show at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. The show features the graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers culminating in an impressive fire walking display.
Soon after the show visit Sri Dalada Maligawa, the sacred Temple of Tooth Relic.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya where a rare collection of tropical exotic and indigenous flora including the famous Orchid House could be viewed.
Proceed to Peradeniya station to catch the train to Nanu Oya. Daily, the train leaves at 12:31 and arrives 15:55. Your driver guide leads you to the wagon and finds your seat for you and hurriedly makes his way to the Nanu Oya station by car to meet you on arrival.
Nanu Oya is the nearest station to Nuwara Eliya. A breathtaking view of the misty mountains covered with lush tea estates, steep mountain slopes, large number of tunnels is opened from the window of the wagon during this trip.
Driver picks you up at the station and transfers you to Nuwara Eliya.
The beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya, set in the heart of Tea country and situated 1890 meters above sea level, is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne with well kept lawns with hedges.

Rise up early. Pack your breakfast and by 5:30 am leave for Horton Plains, the highest plateau in the country. A van picks you up at the hotel and drives up to the entrance of the park.
Horton Plains is famous for many rare and endemic highland birds. The most awesome physical feature of the Horton Plains is the escarpment that falls 880 meters to the lowlands of the southern region of the island. Aptly known as the World's End the view from the precipice of the countryside below towards the south coast is spectacular.
Return to your accommodation in mid day. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Kitulgala which is a small town perched on the hills that slope down to the flowing waters of the Kelani River.
Kitulgala is the most ideal place for water rafting in Sri Lanka as well as in whole South Asia and is renowned for the famous film ‘Bridge on the river Kwai’ that was shot here half a century back.
Make your way to the Kelani River to enjoy a 5 km-league, an hour long thrilling session of white water rafting.
Transfer to the fishing village of Negombo. Check in to the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure.
