Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. 

Drive to Chingis Khaan Statue. The statues in total is 40m high and see as far sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand.

Early morning, drive to Elsen Tasarkhai unique area of forest and sand dunes. 

After lunch, there is an opportunity for a camel rides trial through the sand dunes. We will visit a local nomad family where you have an opportunity to experience their way of life, their culture and traditions. 

Enjoy a welcome dinner and have an awesome experience with an Authentic Mongolian Barbecue, prepared in the traditional style with hot stones.

After breakfast, today's destination is Shuranga river

You will meet your horse keeper and get prepared for the trip. Stay in Naiman Lake eco camp. Meet local people and your horse guide will accompany you to give you the
chance to discover the life and food of the nomads. Real authentic Mongolian Barbecue is made the traditional way!

Naiman Lake → Lake Shireet

After breakfast, begin the horseback riding trip in the territory of Naiman Lake. 

The lakes of the area are named Shireet, Khaliut, Bugat, Khaya, Khuis, Onon, Doroo and Bayan-Uul. Horse riding distance is approximately 18-20 km on each day. Yak ride trial and support to Lake Shireet.

After breakfast, horseback riding trip to Lake Haliut

The lakes located in a high mountain area with sub alpine mountain meadows and coniferous forests of Siberian Pine and Siberian Larch, flat valley areas with lava
stone fields in the north of the protected area and barren mountain tops, and the lakes.

After breakfast, enjoy horseback riding trip to Naiman Nuur. 

The area of Naiman Nuur, which was created by volcanic eruptions centuries ago and 3,163 metres above sea level Khuisiin Naiman Nuur is located on over 2,400 meter above sea level.

Buurug Valley → Orkhon Waterfall

After breakfast, continue on the trip to Orkhon waterfall

In the beginning, the terrain will be wide open valleys to mountain, rivers and then changing to Forest Mountain and 20m wonderful waterfall. We finish horse riding trip on this day and meet with driver.

Tuvhun Monastery

After breakfast, trip to Tuvhun monastery and which is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Mongolia. 

It was built in 1654 by Bogd Gegeen Zanabazar. He created the Mongolian Soyombo script, and produced great architecture of Buddhist temples and monasteries. The monastery is located on the top of a mountain. You can also discover this amazing temple by walking.

Karakorum and Erdene-Zuu Monastery

After breakfast, drive to Karakorum, the symbolic ruins of the XIIIth century capital of the Mongol Empire. 

Visit Erdene-Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586. Then visit Karakorum museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Ancient state period halls.

Karakorum → Khustai National Park

After breakfast drive to Khustai National Park to see wild Takhi, the Asian wild horse. 

Enjoy short hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife. Visit Takhi's information center.
