Mexico City

Upon arrival at Mexico City Airport, our team will transfer you to your hotel. 

In the evening you will attend a presentation of Amalia Hernández's Folk Ballet in the Fine Arts Palace. This show that has been presented in over 60 countries compiles the regional dances found in all the country.

Teotihuacán & Anthropology Museum

After breakfast we will make a stop at the Anthropology Museum, one of the top archaeology museums in the world. 

Then we will drive to the ruins of Teotihuacan, where we will visit the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and Quetzalcoatl Temple. We will finish our visit with a flight over the ruins on a hot air balloon.

Sumidero Canyon & Chiapa de Corzo

After breakfast we will take our flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. After our arrival we will visit the Sumidero Canyon, one of the most spectacular landscapes of the country. 

In the afternoon we will walk and explore the cobbled streets of Chiapa de Corzo. Then we will continue to San Cristóbal de las Casas, a marvelous city set on a mountain valley inhabited by the Tzotzil and Tzetzal indigenous groups, a rich mosaic of ethnic cultures.

Montebello Lakes

After breakfast we will drive across the jungles of Chiapas to the stunning El Chiflón and Velo de Novia Waterfalls. We will continue our visit in the Montebello Lakes, a national park with sublime lakes with hues that go from green to turquoise.

Indigenous communities of San Cristóbal

After breakfast we will visit the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, famous for their indigenous churches that blend catholicism and indigenous beliefs. 

In the afternoon we will have a guided tour of San Cristóbal de las Casas, visiting its colonial churches and indigenous markets.

Agua Azul Falls

After breakfast we will cross the mountains to the mesmerizing Agua Azul waterfalls and the thundering Misol Ha. Then we will continue our way to Palenque

Yaxchilán and Bonampak

After breakfast we will travel to the mayan ruins of Yaxchilán, located on the border with Guatemala. Covered by the thick jungle, this ancient city boasts the most elaborate mayan bas reliefs. Then we will cross the border and explore the ruins of Bonampak. After our visit we will return to Palenque, where we will have the afternoon at leisure.

Palenque → Campeche

After breakfast we will have a guided tour of the ruins of Palenque. For many this is the most spectacular mayan site in Mexico, which was the capital of one of the mightiest mayan empires. 

In the afternoon we will continue to the seaside city of Campeche

Campeche → Uxmal → Mérida

After breakfast we will make a tour of Campeche, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Then we will drive to the mayan ruins of Uxmal, one of the best preserved mayan cities. 

After our visit we will continue to Mérida, the cultural heart of Yucatán, where you will have the afternoon at leisure to explore its plazas, colonial mansions and enjoy of its renown gastronomy.

Ik Kil Cenote and Chichén Itzá

After breakfast we will drive to the ruins of Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a world heritage site by the UNESCO. There we will visit the famous Temple of Kukulkan, the Platform of the Skulls and the observatory of El Caracol. 

We will continue our tour in the Ik-Kil cenote. Cenotes are karst underground pools that were used by the mayas as sites for human sacrifices. Nowadays they are places of lush nature where you can swim and snorkel in its emerald waters. 

After our visit we will drive to Playa del Carmen, set in the heart of the legendary Mayan Riviera.

Tulum and Xel-Ha

After breakfast we will visit the mayan ruins of Tulum, whose pyramid overlooks the Caribbean sea. Then we will continue to Xel-Há water park, where you will be able to swim and snorkel with thousands of tropical fish or enjoy a wide range of adventure activities. 

In the afternoon we will return to Playa del Carmen, where you can continue enjoying its blissful beaches or shop in the boutiques of the 5a Avenida.
