Upon arrival at Mexico City Airport, our team will transfer you to your hotel.

Mexico City

After breakfast you will have the free morning to explore the historical downtown of Mexico City. 

In the afternoon we will visit the Mercado Gourmet de San Juan. Here we will try seafood tostadas, homemade mole, blue corn tlacoyos and a sampling of mexican cheese. To quench your thirst you will try pulque, an alcoholic beverage made from fermented maguey sap, one of the staple dishes of Mexico. We will also get to visit the San Juan Arcos de Belén Market, famous for its mexican cuisine. 

Then we will have free time to enjoy the city before leaving for a fun presentation of Lucha Libre. This popular entertainment is a fusion of a combat sport and theatrical sequences, and is one of the most iconic elements of popular culture in Mexico.

Puebla

After breakfast we will drive to Puebla, the cradle of mexican baroque art. 

Once we arrive we will visit the Reyna talavera tile workshop, where we will learn about the manufacturing process of this traditional art. If you desire, you will be able to create your own piece at the workshop. 

Then we will make a tour of the beautiful city of Puebla, starting with the Cathedral, the historical downtown and the Parián Market, among others. 

In the evening we will enjoy a traditional dinner at Casa Reyna restaurant, an icon of Puebla's cuisine.

Oaxaca

After breakfast we will leave for the city of Oaxaca. Upon arrival we will visit the historical downtown, with the elaborate Santo Domingo Church and a fascinating tour of the colorful markets 20 de Noviembre and Benito Juárez

Oaxaca Cooking Class

After breakfast we will take a wonderful class of Mexican cuisine, which is focused on dishes you can recreate back home. 

The class starts with a cup of coffee or chocolate while you decide the menu you'll cook. We will prepare two types of tortillas, three salsas, an entree, a soup, a mole, dessert and guacamole. We will then make a visit to the Sánchez Pascuas market, where the chef will give us an introduction to the local ingredients. Then we will cook our menu and once its ready, enjoy it. 

In the afternoon we will make a visit to the most renown art galleries of the city, where we will meet with local artists. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Oaxaca Central Valleys

After breakfast we will visit the famous Tule Tree, which is thought to be the widest tree in the world. Then we will stop at the 16th century church of Tlacochahuaya in Teotitlán del Valle, where we will also observe the manufacturing of the famous wool carpets of this region.

Hierve el Agua Falls and Mezcal Distillery

After breakfast we will drive to the ruins of Mitla, one of the major cities of the ancient mixtecs and zapotecs. After our visit we will continue to the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua, a geological marvel unique in the world. 

In the afternoon we will visit a mezcal distillery, Oaxaca's staple drink. First we will learn about the different types of mezcal, then we will focus on its manufacturing process, finishing with a sampling of various types of mezcal such as Tepextate, Tobalá, Cuish, Arroqueño, Coyote and Madrequixe.

Oaxaca → Mazunte

After breakfast we will travel to the coasts of the south Pacific to the beaches of Mazunte. We will have the morning to enjoy its blissful sands and sea. In the afternoon we will make a short hike to the cliff of Punta Cometa.

Mazunte

In the morning we will take part in a yoga class, followed by a visit to Mazunte's turtle breeding center. We will spend a free afternoon in the idyllic beach of San Agustinillo

After breakfast we will drive to the beaches of Huatulco. There we will take a boat tour of the Seven Bays of Huatulco, where we will enjoy of snorkeling sessions in its clear waters, swim and relax. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beaches of Huatulco.

Huatulco → Mexico City

After breakfast we will have a free day to relax at Huatulco's beaches. 

In the afternoon we will take our flight to Mexico City. After our arrival we will go on a Tacos and Mezcal tour where you'll be able to sample their authentic recipes.
