Embark on an unforgettable adventure from Luang Prabang to Houay Xai visiting countless hill tribe villages dotted over the northern jungles of Laos.
You will be met by our staff and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After check in, free at leisure.

After breakfast, we will visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture throughout the ages.
We will enjoy a short-guided tour of the city's oldest temple, the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong where you can see its impressive tree of life mosaic set in colored glass. We then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which will give us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We’ll make sure to stop at the Pak Ou Caves, sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images.
We will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced. Once back in Luang Prabang city we take a visit to Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek - small villages well known for silk weaving and Saa (Jute) paper-making.

After breakfast, a visit to The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Laos culture throughout the ages.
Then we will head for the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre where you will be able to observe valuable artifacts and traditional clothing and implements from each of the 20 ethnic minority groups that inhabit the Luang Prabang area.
Later in the morning we will go to Phou Si Market, which has an eclectic selection of foodstuffs and souvenirs. Afterwards, we head out to visit some ethnic minority villages and see how these colorful people live. We then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can swim in the turquoise pools or walk along forest paths.
On our return to the city, we will climb to the top of Mount Phou Si to explore the sacred gilded stupa, as well as capturing a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. From there, we will visit the Night Market, where you can browse through a lovely selection of handmade textiles.

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession.
After breakfast, we take a minivan to Nong Khiaw which is a hidden small town in Laos with a nice scenery. On the way we will drive through the forest and green jungle and stop to experience the local village Ban Nayang to see they produce weaving crafts and Laos traditional dresses. Upon arrival at Nong Khiaw, your guide will show you around the town.

After breakfast, we take a long tail boat to Mouang Ngoi - Mouang Kua. On the way we will stop at Ban Mouang Ngoi Kao, and then continue to Ban Sop Chem, where Khmu and Thai Deng villages are located. We will do our sightseeing around village, and see the production of handicrafts and traditional weaving.
We will arrive in Mouang Kua in the late afternoon, and your guide will show you the small village.

After breakfast, the guide will take you to visit the local market to explore Laos local food sales on display. We will continue our journey to Boun Tai by road, about 5 hours across mountains and valleys. On the way we will visit the local ethnic markets and Ekor and Akar village.

After breakfast, we will visit the local market where ethnic minorities come to sell and buy their daily products. We will explore the ethnic minority’s villages such as Akar, Ikor, Tai Lue and Phou Noi Hor.
Lunch will be with local family and local food. After our activities, we will return to Boun Tai in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, travel to Oudomxay and then Namkat Yorla Pa Park. On the way, we will visit the sacred and famous Buddha images throughout the region. You can ask for success and good luck in your lives. Then we will continue our journey to the amazing park of Namkat Yorla Pa.

After breakfast, transfer to Luang Nam Tha, a town of large rice paddies and many ethnic minorities.
Upon arrival, we will have a cycling tour around Luang Namtha across stunning landscapes, visiting villages of Black Tai, Tai Leu ethnic minorities and learning about handicraft manufacturing in the region. You will also see silk production and a Lao alcohol distillery. In the cold season you'll have the chance to learn about lantern paper making. Visit to Phou That Mountain, view of Luang Nam Tha with sunset.

In the morning, we will continue our way to visit Mouang Sing, a town close to China and Myanmar. On the way we will visit the Akar and Ekor villages. Before arriving to Mouang Sing we will visit a Buddhist Tai Lue style temple, Wat Xieng Tueng.
In the afternoon, we will explore the town, visit the Ethnic Museum, French colonial buildings and see the everyday lives of the locals around the town.

At dawn, your guide will take you to explore the local market. You will see many ethnic people dressed in different ways. We will return to hotel for breakfast, then travel to Luang Namtha and head to Houay Xai.
On the way we will visit Caves in Vieng Phou Ka town.
Upon arrival in Houay Xai, your guide will take you to visit hillside Buddhist temple for sunset on the Mekong river between Laos & Thailand.
