Choosing Tours

What is a private tour?

A private tour is organized for you or your own group where tour activities, transfers, vehicles, guides etc are not shared with other travelers. You can travel at your own pace with flexibility. However, the nature of certain services may not be completely private, for example, cruises, flights, etc.

What is a group tour?

A group tour is organized for a determined number of travellers where travel services are shared with the other members of the group. They are designed to develop synergy with other travellers with similar interests and enrich your travel experience.

What is a customizable tour?

A customizable tour is a tour where the suggested itinerary can be adjusted to meet the traveller’s specific needs and interests. It gives you the chance to design your travel experience exactly as you want it to be. You may change the length of the trip, the pace, the destinations on the itinerary, the accommodation type, or the programmed activities.

Are the tours on your website private or on shared basis?

Most of the tours on our website are private. However, in some cases certain transports and activities may be on a shared basis. We make sure that our local tour operators mention clearly whether activities, transfer or transports are private or shared basis in the details of a tour. This way you will know from the very first moment if there is any activity or transport that you will share with other travelers.

Is the tour departure guaranteed?

All our private tours itineraries have guaranteed departure on your planned date once you make your reservation.

For some group tours on our website there is a minimum number of people required, some others have guaranteed departures regardless of the number of people confirmed. For either case, you will find the details along with the tour description in our website.

Flight Ticket

Are international airfares included?

International flights to and from your destination are not included in the price. You can always ask our local tour operators to include international flights in your itinerary, although it might be a better idea buying them in your own country, as they can be less expensive.

Why do some of your trips do not include domestic flights tickets?

Most of our users are avid travelers and have frequent flyer membership with airlines. By buying the flights themselves they get miles from the airline companies. For this reason many of our local operators do not include domestic flights.

If you do not have a frequent flyer card, we strongly recommend you to request a quotation with the domestic flights included.

Can your local tour operators book the domestic flights on my itinerary?

Most of our local tour operators can book the necessary domestic or regional flights to make your trip run smoothly. Please inform our local operators in advance so they can make your tour quotation considering these.

Can your local tour operators book additional flights before and after my tour?

For those who need connection flights before or after the trip, most of our local tour operators can help with such bookings. Being locals they have access to competitive fares for domestic or regional flights, yet they might not be your best bet for long international flights.

Tour Prices

Why do some of your trips do not include all entrance fees?

This may happen because of several reasons. In some cases, entrances cannot be purchased in advance or require the buyer to make the purchase in person. In other cases, this may be because entrances have a variable price depending on the type of ticket you choose, for example a theater performance, or the entry to an archaeological complex divided into separate areas with different prices and add-ons. This is why our local tour operators believe that only you can make such choices to enjoy tourist attractions the way you want.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, there are no hidden costs. There is nothing more important to us than total transparency. All our local tour operators are required to explain in a clear and concise way what you’re getting for the money you pay: what services are included or not included, the type of accommodation, which meals are provided, entrance fees, etc. You will not see any surprise charges before, during, and after your trip. Not with us.

Is the price I’m seeing on your website the final price?

The prices shown in some tours are the final prices while some others are estimated prices which vary depending on the season and accommodation availability. In case there is a price difference, our local tour operators will explain the reasons for this. But don’t think this is only bad news: many times the final price can be cheaper than what is published in our website.

If your wallet is not happy with the final quoted price, you can always adjust your trip to your budget by changing accommodation type, travel dates or activities.

Are the prices on your website per person?

The differences among these categories are the type accommodation you will enjoy during the tour, the type of transports you will use, and the overall service level you will experience.

The Luxury option offers a remarkably high level of luxury services. Tours are usually private to deliver ultimate experiences. Accommodation is usually 5-star hotels. If 5-star hotels are not available in the location, your local agent will choose the best accommodation available.
