We leave Rurrenabaque by car at 9:00 a.m to the Municipal Reserve of the Yacuma River. After three and half hours we arrive at our Ecolodge Caracoles located on the shores of the Yacuma River. Lunch at the Lodge and relax in a hammock.
In the afternoon, we make a boat trip in the Yacuma River to see a lot of wildlife like caimans, alligators, monkeys, capybaras, anacondas and numerous species of birds. Unlike in the rainforest, most of these animals can easily been seen from the boat.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, we walk through the wetlands and look for anacondas and alligators. Lunch at the Lodge and take a rest.
In the afternoon, we swim with pink river dolphins in the river (rainy season only).
Dinner at the Lodge. After dinner, we make another excursion by boat where you see the glowing red eyes of caimans and other nocturnal life along the riverbank.
Overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, we travel by boat to a place where we can observe a lot of squirrel monkeys and other wildlife.
After lunch, we transfer back to Rurrenabaque where we arrive around 5 pm.
